Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Krista Bradford serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Good Search, LLC in Westport, Connecticut in the Greater New York City Area. Ms. Bradford also heads the firm’s recruiting research division Intellerati, leading its team of executive search researchers.  Before founding the company in 1999, Ms. Bradford served as a three-time Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter and television journalist. She held positions with WNBC and WWOR in New York as well as with stations in Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, and St. Louis. She is a former national news correspondent for “The Reporters” on the Fox Television Network and a senior correspondent Tribune’s nationally syndicated “Now It Can Be Told” series.

Shortly after leaving television, Ms. Bradford founded the nation’s first investigative executive search and recruiting research practice. She delivered marquis-name executives and technologists to the portfolio companies of top tier venture capital firms in New York’s Silicon Alley and California’s Silicon Valley. Soon, the executive search research practice grew to include Fortune 100 clients in media and technology wherever business collides with the Internet: Accenture, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.

Ms. Bradford is a recognized talent acquisition thought-leader, author, and public speaker.  Her blog, “The Investigative Recruiter“, has been counted among the recruiting industry’s Top 20 blogs and among HR World’s Top 10. She also shares research-specific insights and best practices in the Intellerati blog. She has served as a board member of the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment (IACPR), and is a member of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA). She studied at Harvard University and Columbia University, ultimately obtaining her BA in Liberal Arts at The New School.

Ms. Bradford lives in Westport, Connecticut with husband Crispin Cioe, a world-class saxophonist, composer, and founder of the band Cracked Ice and their daughter Katharine Cioe. Ms. Bradford still occasionally fights the good fight, serving as whistleblower in a recent Wall Street Journal expose on Dun & Bradstreet and Dun & Bradstreet Credibility. She also has served as a founding advisor to NewsTrust  a website that helps people find and share good journalism online, so they can make more informed decisions as citizens.

Jess (Heady) Myers serves as Engagement Manager at Intellerati, the research division of The Good Search. Ms. Myers is a responsible for identifying and profiling best-in-class senior executive and technology talent for our engagements. As one of our leading executive search researchers, she is also responsible for the care and feeding of our proprietary database. She tracks the latest research tools and trends, ensuring Intellerati stays on the leading edge.

Ms. Myers has conducted executive searches for some of the most powerful and successful companies in software, digital media and advertising, computer games, and strategy consulting. As an executive search researcher. she not only excels at delivering top talent for C-Level executive searches, she is a gifted technology recruiter.  In one case, she recruited so rare a technology luminary that one Fortune 100 client said they had no idea where in the world the candidate might exist, or whether that person even existed.  In addition, Ms. Myers has led engagements building talent pools for diversity talent acquisition initiatives. For one major financial institution, she assisted in the identification of more than 500 diverse officer-level candidates. Ms. Myers has been working in retained executive search, executive recruiting and staffing since 2005.

Prior to joining Intellerati, Ms. Myers served as a Recruiter and Research Associate at Staff Providers. She partnered with executive management on the placement of medical executives, physicians, and support staff. Her clients included some of the most highly regarded healthcare organizations in the Northeast, including Yale University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Health System, and Quest Diagnostics.

Before Ms. Myers started her career in recruiting services, she served as a trusted assistant to a prominent attorney in the Fairfield County area. While in that role, Ms. Myers gained valuable investigative skills and abilities including researching backgrounds, legal due diligence, and deep research in the preparation of cases. Ms. Myers is certified by the National Association of Personnel Services as a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist.

Ms. Myers is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Library and Information Science at Southern Connecticut State University. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
